About SPARC
SOLUTE Prototyping and Advanced Research Center
The SOLUTE Prototyping and Advanced Research Center (SPARC) is a 10,000 sqft. space hosting SOLUTE’s Navy Integration Environment, which provides a representative Navy Network and Computing Environment in support of development and testing of Navy focused technologies. Conveniently located directly across from SPAWAR Headquarters, the SPARC Lab provides the Government with an increased level of transparency in SOLUTE’s development and test processes. SPARC hosts Navy Tactical Cloud Reference Implementation (NTC-RI), Maritime Tactical Command and Control (MTC2) Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), ADNS, Consolidated Afloat Network and Enterprise Services (CANES) and other relevant systems which allow development to occur in a high-fidelity environment. SPARC provides a simulated multi-node C4I network environment molded after ADNS, NTWAN, and the DISN backbone. This environment simulates the various sites (DECC, NCTAMS, NOC, CVN, etc.) and services present in Navy networks. Additionally, a satellite/RF link emulation system allows connectivity to various sites to model real world tactical environments. This environment allows SOLUTE to integrate with actual Navy network systems in order to gather realistic network sensor data.
Located Across from NAVWAR
SPARC is located directly across Pacific Highway from NAVWAR, providing our customers with unparalleled access and transparency.
Full CANES Stack
SPARC hosts a fully functioning CANES stack, giving SOLUTE the capability to test our projects on the exact same resources that are currently in use by the Fleet.
Fully Simulated C4I Network
SPARC’S high-fidelity environment allows for all R&D to be conducted in realistic conditions that the tech would face in the Navy’s use cases.
