SOLUTE provides systems engineering integration support and project management services for the Unmanned Carrier Aviation (UCA) Program Office (PMA-268) Mission Control System (UMCS) integration with PEO C4I Program of Records (PoR) for shipboard and shore instances.
SOLUTE performs systems engineering support for all afloat networking tasks for the project, with specific responsibility for interface controls between the afloat UMCS MD-5A and Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise Services (CANES). SOLUTE develops future engineering plans between UMCS shore systems and PEO C4I PoR, specifically Secure Tactical Assured Command and Control (STACC).
SOLUTE researches possible interfaces between the UCA air vehicle, UMCS, and PEO C4I developmental communications, networking, and TCPED (Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination) systems. SOLUTE produces engineering artifacts to determine modernization requirements for the existing shore C4I architectures necessary to support connectivity between the UCA air vehicle and control segments via Line-of-Sight (LOS) and Beyond-Line-of-Sight (BLOS) communication systems and terrestrial connectivity to ashore UMCSs and TCPED systems.
