San Diego, Calif., January 24, 2020 – SOLUTE has been awarded a contract to support Tactical Training Group Pacific (TTGP) in providing the US Pacific Fleet with training to conduct effective naval and joint operations across the spectrum of combat operations. TTGP’s mission is to provide advanced tactical training to improve war-fighting proficiency to meet the unified commander’s requirements. This training requirement spans individual units, Amphibious Readiness Groups, Carrier Strike Groups, and Carrier Strike Forces.
SOLUTE will provide Distributed Training Architecture (DTA) development, configuration, operation, and management technical support in San Diego, CA; Yokosuka, Japan; Pearl Harbor, Hawaii; and Everett, WA. Services will cover a wide range of engineering and technical support relative to Fleet Synthetic Training (FST). Work will include but is not limited to development and improvement of technical planning documents, instructions, and guidelines for fleet and unit-level synthetic training; operational systems integration support through sophisticated engineering and related tasking, such as full-scale development and updates to hard data and training tools; utilization of current training tools/systems, to conduct training for Pacific Fleet (PACFLT) mission-critical FST; and recommendations for instruction update/improvement in support of PACFLT and Ballistic Missile Defense training programs.
SOLUTE will provide a technical plan of drawings, configurations, systems capabilities, and limitations to describe a training architecture incorporating Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Collaboration, and Intelligence (C5I) systems, training systems, and networks that will achieve training objectives. Test plans will be developed to validate the training architecture performance. And SOLUTE’s Subject Matter Experts will provide technical support and operate training tools to achieve training objectives.
