San Diego, Calif., April 8, 2020 – SOLUTE network engineers to begin work for Air Force/Army Anti-jam Modem (A3M) program. This effort supports the US military migrating to Protected Tactical Waveform (PTW) to ensure delivery of high capacity protected tactical Satellite Communication (SATCOM) to joint and coalition warfighters in contested, degraded environments.
The A3M program will develop and procure operational PTW modems with an embedded End Cryptographic Units (ECU) for integration with currently fielded, Military Satellite Communications (MILSATCOM)-certified tactical terminals. The target terminals for the A3M program include the Army’s Warfighter Information Network – Tactical (WIN-T) Satellite Transportable Terminal (STT) variants and the Air Force’s Ground Multiband Terminal (GMT).
