San Diego, Calif. – SOLUTE has been tasked by NIWC Pacific and the Commander Naval Air Forces Atlantic to provide engineering support services to the EA-18G Growler community. Tasking includes systems engineering for network and communication services for the Growler aircraft to enhance the collection, processing, transmission, and reception of critical, time-sensitive data.
SOLUTE will analyze the capabilities and environmental constraints of network and communication systems identified by the users in the Growler community, sponsors, and stakeholders. SOLUTE will then generate performance and functional requirements to realize those requirements.
SOLUTE will perform systems engineering and technical analyses to support the integration of communications connectivity via commercial or military Satellite Communications (SATCOM) systems, and direct Line of Sight (LOS) communication systems with existing and future networks.
This effort will enable autonomous operation from remote airfields without host facility support for the EA-18G squadron.
This tasking falls under the Automated Digital Network Systems (ADNS) Engineering Support Services IDIQ contract awarded to SOLUTE in November 2020 and expiring in 2030, if all options are exercised.
