Meet Some of Our Team
Andrew Stone
Program Manager
After being recruited to play football for the Naval Academy, Andrew went on to serve for 20 years in the U.S. Navy. He earned an undergraduate degree from the University of San Diego, and an MBA from San Diego State University, before transitioning into a civilian career. At SOLUTE, Andrew manages several development projects that are bringing cutting-edge technology to the Naval Intelligence community.

Tristan Ross
Systems Administrator
A UCSD Alumnus, Tristan has been working in the field of information technology for over three years. Tristan’s passion for pursuing knowledge has led him to earn his Masters of Science in Cyber Security from Utica College while executing his responsibilities as a Systems Administrator for SOLUTE in San Diego. Outside of his career, Tristan is also an accomplished musician and dancer. Having stepped away from the professional dancing scene, Tristan now dedicates his free time to teaching ballroom and Latin dances within the San Diego community.

Juan Padilla
Software Engineer, Mobility Team
Juan is a California native and a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. He specializes in mobile app development and is an asset to SOLUTE’s Mobility Team. Juan is currently working on a project that will provide the Navy with greater control over mobile devices used within secure spaces. On the weekends Juan likes to spend his free time at the beach, or taking advantage of the San Diego craft beer scene. He also makes questionable fantasy football decisions…

Travis Long
Operations Analyst
Travis is a San Diego Native, and SOLUTE’s “Jack-of-all-Trades.” He earned his BS in Kinesiology from Humboldt State University, before holding various positions including Prosthetic Technician, Cycle Mechanic, Bartender, and his new operations role at SOLUTE with a focus on recruitment. When he is not attracting talented engineers and business professionals, he likes to hike, camp, ride his excessive number of bikes, and take his dogs to the beach.
“At SOLUTE I get to develop new skills and expand my knowledge. I learn from my coworkers as they enjoy teaching me about the work they do, and are willing to spend time to teach me the basics. Since I started at SOLUTE, I have obtained certifications related to Network Security and have learned a lot about Business Development, Computer Science, and the Department of Defense as a whole.”
Cindy De Leon Torres
Business Analyst
A graduate from Mount Saint Mary’s University, Cindy joined the SOLUTE team as a Business Analyst and has been making a positive impact not only in her role in the administration, but also in influencing SOLUTE’s company culture. She has a long history of volunteering and helping her community through mentorship programs and work with non-profit organizations. Cindy loves attending music and art festivals and, as a foodie, she spends a lot of time on the weekends seeking out new and exciting restaurants around San Diego and Los Angeles.

Sean Ippolito
Software Engineer
After 5 years of service in the Marine Corps, Sean earned his B.S. in Computer Science from the University of California, San Diego. His career in software development led him to join SOLUTE where he is currently developing a tool that will provide enhanced, real-time collaboration between Navy ship and shore sites for mission planning. You can find Sean spending his free time surfing around San Diego or riding his motorcycle down the coast of Mexico’s Baja Peninsula.
