San Diego, Calif., January 19, 2021 – SOLUTE is awarded Battle Lab Training contract for the Afloat Training Group Pacific (ATGPAC) in San Diego. The SOLUTE Team, which includes Sayres and Associates, brings elite Naval Warfare subject matter experts skilled in Fleet Synthetic Training (FST). The Team’s combined efforts built the ATGSD Battle Lab from the ground up, resulting in the premier Battle Lab in the Pacific Theater of Operations.
ATGPAC is responsible for the training and certification of all ships in the Pacific Fleet. The SOLUTE Team supports all distributed training events, both live and simulated, conducted in the ATGSD Battle lab. Through this contract, the Team will continue to develop and revise FST Unit and Strike Warfare distributed training support products consistent with the current Navy Wide and Fleet OPTASKS. To facilitate warfare commander duties and responsibilities, SOLUTE will operate systems to simulate tactical-level operations, role-play notional forces, and configure training spaces and modeling and simulation systems.
